AUTO MECHANIC ASSISTANT
Essential Functions:
- Works with master technicians to assist to perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
- Shop/vehicle clean-up.
- Physical inventory of parts.
- Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image.
- Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid NJ Drivers license with a good driving record are required
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Professional and trustworthy conduct is required.
- Natural mechanical abilities helpful, along with basic knowledge of tools.
- Must be at least a high school senior in good standing
- Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
- NO loose clothing. Clean and professional appearance is a requirement.

FERRARI TECHNICIAN
Essential Functions:
- Employs efficiency and accuracy to complete work as specified on the repair order in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Identifies the root cause of any malfunction and makes repairs.
- Speaks with the parts department to get the parts required.
- Examines the allocated vehicle to see if any additional safety or repair maintenance is necessary or advised.
- Notifies the service advisor right away if any more work is required, if the suggested work is unnecessary, or if the repairs cannot be finished in the anticipated amount of time.
- Records every action taken and advice given on the repair order.
- When necessary, conducts road tests on automobiles or contacts a test technician.
- Stays current on technical bulletins from the manufacturer. oversees any assigned trainee technicians’ work.
- Inform the supervisor of any machine flaws or failures.
- Ensures that the cars of clients are kept spotless.
- Notifies the service advisor right away of any changes to the vehicle’s look or condition. maintains a tidy and clean shop area.
- Maintains and is responsible for any tools and manuals that belong to the dealership.
- Delivers them back in the same state as when they were received, at the correct location.
- Complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those pertaining to the disposal of hazardous waste and OSHA’s Right-to-Know requirements.
- Uses all tools and equipment responsibly.
- Notifies management immediately of any safety concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- An associate’s degree (A. A.) or its equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to a year of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- CURRENT ASE AUTOMOTIVE CERTIFICATIONS
- Ferrari and/or a luxurious background are preferred
- Clean driving record, a clear background check, and familiarity with computer diagnostic tools
- Critical-thinker A person who can quickly go through a number of stages in their head and be able to convey potential answers to any problems that might develop is most suited for problem-solving.
